The Novatron M500 Monolight Kit is a simple 1-light kit that comes with a fan cooled 500 watt second monolight, reflector, umbrella, sync cord, light stand, and case. It has two power settings, the full 500 or 1/4 125 w/s of power. The M500 features a modeling light switch that permits constant full power or variable power with the flash power selection.
The M500 also includes an internal, switchable slave triggering device. It comes equipped with a 500 w/s, color corrected to 5500°K plug in flashtube, and 250 watt modeling light. There's a built-in slave, and the M500 indicates with both a beep and a light that it is ready to fire. This is a low voltage emitting unit, so you can safely attach it directly to your SLR camera with the included sync cord without fearing electrical damage down the road. The M500's mounting bracket attaches quickly to the 10' light stand included in this kit, and the included 45" white umbrella softens and broadens the light output. The kit case is soft padded nylon.
