For anyone looking, understand that the softbox connection is specifically designed for the bare bulb attached of the AD200Pro/AD200ProII. The setup of the softbox is super simple which is great when traveling. The reflector plate screws into place, ensuring it is secure. The silver lining combined with the white pass-through make for great soft lighting for portraits in the field.
I was so excited to find a soft box that worked with my AD200 and AD200 pro without the added weight of a bowens mount adapter. When I opened the box I thought I would find a softbox that would slide over the AD200 but no it has the small silver retaining ring that only works with the bare bulb flash head. Would return but I am outside of the return window.
