Beamforming Noise Cancellation Mode

The intelligent two-microphone system utilizes omnidirectional mics and analyzes phase differences from sound sources. Using the beamforming algorithms, the DS-9100 suppresses sound from specific directions, reducing noise from the back and sides significantly while focusing on the speaker during dictation. The digital speech standard (DSS) allows for quick file editing (insert, overwrite, append, erase/cut) and uses meta information (index, verbal comments, worktypes, etc.) to facilitate collaboration and automatic processing.

PCM format, with its minimal compression, ensures exceptional quality as well as compatibility with a variety of playback tools. Simultaneously, the widely utilized MP3 format serves as an excellent choice for storing consumer audio and enables easy transfer/playback of music on digital audio players.

Noise-Activated Recording with VCVA

The VCVA function efficiently manages memory by pausing recording during quiet intervals and automatically restarting when it detects sound exceeding a preset threshold. This feature optimizes playback efficiency and prolongs recording time.

Index Marks

While recording or playing back, you have the flexibility to insert up to 32 Index Marks into an audio file. These marks act as handy indicators, helping you identify crucial or noteworthy segments of your dictation.

Insert and Overwrite Recording Modes

Unlock different recording options with the DS-9100. Use Insert mode to seamlessly add recordings into existing audio files without the need for additional addendums. Overwrite mode enables you to record over previous dictation at any chosen point.

Lastly, Append mode effortlessly adds a new recording to the end of an existing file. With the addition of the New File creation button, you don’t need to start a new recording until you are ready.
