The two MCIO (SFF-1016) ports can directly support up to four U.2/U.3 or ES.S NVMe SSDs and cable connections to SFF-8639 or MCIO/SFF-8654/SFF-1016 UBM and VPP compliant backplane connectivity. This adapter complies with the LP-MD2 specification, thanks to its compact form factor. With true hot-plug/hot-swap support, you'll be able to add and remove SSDs while the host platform remains active. The integrated OOB (out-of-band) management can streamline service and maintenance workflows.
