These are excellent replacements for Musician's and Dj's demanding better quality than the plastic outer barrel connectors. They are solder - on connector with a metal outer protector barrel. A little pull on these isn't going to hurt them. They may just prevent you from having to repair your cords at the gig. That is worth buying these to me.
