question
Is this light flicker free for video?
Unfortunately, Blizzard Lighting does not list this unit as being flicker free. However, it would depend on the frame rate in which you are shooting whether it may or may not flicker.

The specs state: 12x 15 W 6-in-1 RGBAW+UV LEDs. ...
The specs state: 12x 15 W 6-in-1 RGBAW+UV LEDs. So 12X 15Watt = 180 Watts. At 180 Watts I would indeed by a few of these lights however Power Consumption states 42 watts! This indicates about 20% of the stated light output. Are these lights in fact 42 Watts or 180 Watts? If they are 180 Watts, the power consumption should be about 185-190 Watt total. Thanks for any help!
Each LED emitter is capable of generating six types of light (hence the 6-in-1 designation). However, each emitter does not do so at the same time. For example, if set to emit only UV light, it will not also emit red, blue, white, amber, or green light.
Now, each 6-in-1 emitter is really and truly six emitters in one. The draw for each of those six is a lot less than 15W. However, the standard practice in electronics is to list each six-in-one emitter according to the total that its six subcomponents can create, not the amount they would create on any one setting.

Does anyone know if these run at a refresh of 50hz? All of our other lights run at 50hz locked, and most lights I find are at 60hz. This creates a problem with our camera shutter speeds, because either one of the other causes a flicker on camera.

question
Max throw distance?
Of course, the answer is dependent on what color combination you use. We are using 7 of these on a 35ft X 15ft stage. The lights cross-throw and are approximately 40ft from their landing point. The entire stage is very well lit at about 80 percent dimmer brightness. Hope this helps.

question
The description mentions full color mixing but the sample photos appear to show all 12 elements with one color at a time. Can multiple colors be used simultaneously, e.g., 4x (Amber + red + green) or 6x (Amber + blue)?
Thank you, Joel. If this is how the lights work in the venues where I shoot, then they're cheating me out of amber! It's hard to get decent skin tones when all you're given is blue and red.
