The FLS-50 runs on three AA alkaline batteries. A selectable auto-off function can be used to automatically turn the device off after a time period of inactivity, further saving battery life. Automatic wavelength detection makes the FLS-50 quick and easy to use. The FLS-50 includes three AA batteries, cleaning swabs, a protective carrying case, and FC, SC, ST, and FC-LC (UPC) plug adapters for connecting to virtually any fiber optic network type.
