Outfit your office or create a monitor wall with this Planar Systems PCT2235 22" Full HD Multi-Touch Monitor 10-pack from B&H.
Multi-Touch Technology
The Planar PCT2235 21.5" Full HD monitor with multi-touch interactivity features projected capacitive touch technology, which registers up to 10 simultaneous touch points. The monitor is extremely fast and accurate for the office worker when scanning through emails, or for the graphic designer when swiping through various design alternatives or resizing photos.
Blue Light Reduction
Blue light has a short wavelength and produces a higher amount of energy. Studies have shown that prolonged exposure to blue light could damage your eyes. The Planar PCT2235 incorporates blue light reduction presets. Varying blue light levels, depending on the activity, enhances visual comfort when viewing the screen for extended periods of time.
Planar Helium Stand
The Planar Helium Stand can be easily tilted from 15 to 70° - quickly moving the user from passive viewing to full touch screen interaction. For the mobile worker desiring to dock their tablet to a larger display when manipulating spreadsheets, or for the college student scrolling through social media updates, the versatile stand accommodates all usage scenarios. For added flexibility, the stand can be collapsed into the back of the monitor and laid flat for tabletop usage, for example, in a museum environment to further explain an exhibit.
Multiple Video Inputs
For more integration flexibility, the Planar PCT2235 multi-touch monitor boasts multiple video inputs - DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA - and integrated speakers. Additionally, the VESA-compatible hole pattern on the back of the monitor makes it easy to attach to other mounting option, such as a Planar single-arm clamp stand or a height-adjust desk stand.

Among its other qualities, this display willfully refuses to play well with others in a multi-display set-up on Windoze. In fact, it reminds one of an exceedingly badly behaved child throwing a tantrum whenever called upon to get along with others. Both the display of desktop icons and the non-operation of the touchscreen feature will instantly persuade you to use this solo-only.

For general display use, the Planar Systems PCT2235 22" 16:9 Multi-Touch LCD Monitor is probably compatible with an Apple MacBook or iPad. Per the user manual, however, this display "is Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 HID (Human Interface Device) compatible" -- to use the touch interface requires Windows.

Can this be used in Portrait (vertical) mode?
Asked by: ALVIN
Thanks Geoffrey. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't voiding the warranty by using the monitor in portrait mode. I know some monitors will specifically say that they can be mounted in both portrait or landscape modes. With other monitors, mounting incorrectly could block ventilation and shorten the lifespan.

has anyone tried installing a Dell Optiplex Micro PC to the back of this and still be able to use stand?
Asked by: Ruben
Though with the right stand it may be able to be done but it may jeopardize the strength and balance of the stand itself. It would not be advised.
