The 405nm LED chips won't emit UV light, making them suitable for Halloween attractions, laser tag, black light parties, family entertainment venues, dark rides, glow bowling, and mini golf, as well as nightclubs and bars. They offer a safe environment in black light venues where employees will be standing directly under the lights for extended periods of time. The 405nm chips provide enough glowing punch to highlight fluorescent paints, makeup, and carpets while the emissions remain safe outside of the UV zone. The lamp is for use only on T8 instant-start and rapid start electronic ballasts and is not compatible with preheat ballasts.
