The eight RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports provide up to 30W PoE+ to compatible devices with a 120W budget. There are also two Gigabit speed RJ45 uplink ports. Use the front-facing DIP switches to enable different modes.
Performance
The GS1010PE has a 20 Gb/s switching capacity with a 14.88 Mpps forwarding rate with a 1Mb packet buffer.
Extend Mode
Use the DIP switches to configure each port in extend mode, which allows you to transfer power and data at 10 Gb/s speeds across 820' Cat 5e or higher cables.
VLAN Mode
Designate the ports to be isolated from each other and only transmit data with the uplink port.
PoE Auto Recovery
Watchdog is enabled under VLAN and Extend modes. If a connected device freezes and stops transmitting data for five minutes, the Watchdog will automatically reboot the corresponding PoE port.
Flexible Mounting
This desk mountable switch may be placed on a rack using a separately purchased kit.
