With 20 velocity samples of per key and sampled mechanical noises, this suite of pianos offers incredible expressivity.
These pianos provide full sustain and sostenuto pedal support. Each piano features adjustable sustain resonance, string release, key sound, hammer release, damper pedal, ambience, and equalizer control, among other adjustable settings. Every piano was meticulously captured with painstaking effort using a modern 12-microphone setup for exceptional detail and flexibility. The Grand 3 plug-in suite is available in VST3, AAX, and AU plug-in formats and supports macOS and Windows computers.
No additional electronic equipment was used during the recordings to capture the natural sound of the acoustic pianos. Plus, two different microphone positions (close and player) available in The Grand 3 result from a 12-microphone setup used for the recordings, giving the musician the ultimate freedom to dictate the piano’s immanent sound.
