Featuring a handmade classical concert guitar with nylon strings and four selectable articulations (soft, hard, mute, and harmonics), this instrument provides all the expressivity you need for intuitive and fun musical storytelling.
Tales includes over 60 textures, from FM and granular to sampled instruments, for enhancing your guitar with unique sounds that are ideal for fantasy, sci-fi, drama, and big emotions. Along with selectable articulations and textures, you can also integrate FX, such as delay (for guitar, texture, or both) and customizable reverb. Basic tonal controls include adjustable distance, balance, variation, and contour. Although ideally designed with HALion 7 in mind, this plug-in is compatible with most DAWs. Tales is available as a VST3, AAX, and AU plug-in and supports macOS and Windows computers.
The guitar was sampled with open-tuned strings at different pitches, to obtain a particular long sustain for each note. This approach also made it possible to record the guitar with an extended range of pitches, providing plenty of flexibility for finding new musical ideas.
