The set is comprised of the slide holder and slide basket. Please note that they must be used in conjunction with compatible VALOI 360 products.
The VALOI 360 Slide Holder is designed to securely and effectively hold most standard 50 x 50mm plastic, metal, and cardboard-mounted slides for high-quality scans. It can be used on its own or with the VALOI 360 Advancer. Built for speed, it reduces the number of steps required when scanning slides. Load the next slide by simply pushing it along the feed ramp into the indented slot. It's recommended to use the VALOI 360 slide basket in tandem to increase workflow speed.
The 360 35mm Slide Basket is an accessory for use with the VALOI 360 Slide Holder and VALOI 360 Advancer that allows you to increase efficiency and retain the order in which the slides were fed through, beneficial when trying to maintain the sequence of a slide archive. The basket mounts directly to the VALOI 360 Advancer using built-in magnets and catches slides as they come out of the VALOI 360 slide holder, keeping 10-20 (depending on thickness) slides safe, dust-free, and scratch-free.
This accessory cannot be used independently and requires the VALOI 360 Slide Holder and VALOI 360 Advancer. It cannot fit all slides, especially older slides, as there are too many slight variances across slide mounts made in different countries at different times.
