Overall, this tripod is pretty good, especially for the price! The only thing I don't like is, to make it taller, you have to rotate a lever to raise it higher, instead of just loosening a knob. Historically, these levers have been prone to breaking. Otherwise, I like all the extra features this tripod has. It's light, so nice that it has a hook beneath so you can hang a little sandbag below, & I like that it has a cold shoe mount available too, to mount an extra light, if needed. I recommend getting a 1/4" male to male screw adapter for the cold shoe, in case your light doesn't already come with one.
