DwarfLab DWARF mini Reviews

Amazing technology and performance!

I've been an amateur astronomer for over 40 years and have used many different telescopes. The introduction of 'smart telescopes' in the past few years has changed my enjoyment of the hobby like nothing before! Until recently obtaining the type of images the Dwarf mini is capable of producing required a massive investment in money, equipment, knowledge, and time. The Dwarf mini is currently the smallest smart telescope available. It literally fits in a pants pocket! However, its tiny size doesn't limit its performance. And, using the Dwarf mini is simple too. Download the app, connect the telescope, and tell it what you want to observe. The mini pretty much does the rest! The app also contains software to enhance the images once they have been captured. One thing to be aware of is that the Dwarf mini does not include a tripod as part of the package. While it would be possible to set the telescope directly on the ground, that is not really a practical solution. However, due to its small size and light weight just about any standard tripod will be enough to support it. Because of its relatively low price and ease of use, the Dwarf mini is an excellent way to begin the hobby. I highly recommend it!

Nice unit

The scope itself is very nice though the documentation or instructions are really of a low value, most of the information we have found is by watching U-Tube videos by users that reference the function and controls. Initially we were almost to the point of returning the unit due to being unable to use it properly as the manual is not at all helpfu.
