The Shure SLXD3+ is a professional digital wireless plug-on transmitter designed to convert any XLR microphone into a wireless source for broadcast, field production, documentary, and live sound applications. Built on the SLX-D+ platform, it delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio, wide-band UHF RF performance, and advanced remote management in a rugged, compact form factor suited for handheld, boom-mounted, and fixed-position microphones.
XLR Plug-On Wireless Conversion
The SLXD3+ allows dynamic and condenser microphones to be used wirelessly within SLX-D+ systems. A patented locking XLR mechanism ensures a secure, wobble-free connection, making it ideal for ENG microphones, shotgun mics, interview handhelds, and boundary microphones in demanding production environments.
Phantom Power and Microphone Support
Selectable +12 to +48 VDC phantom power enables full compatibility with condenser microphones, while dynamic microphones are supported without external power. This flexibility makes the SLXD3+ suitable for a wide range of professional microphone types and applications.
Transparent Digital Audio and RF Performance
SLX-D+ technology delivers pristine 24-bit digital audio with greater than 118 dB of dynamic range. A wide 138 MHz tuning range (regionally dependent) provides simplified frequency coordination and reliable performance across large geographical areas. The system supports up to 11 simultaneous systems per 6 MHz TV band and up to 14 systems per 8 MHz TV band.
ShowLink Ease Remote Management
ShowLink Ease provides real-time, two-way communication between SLX-D+ transmitters and compatible receivers using a dedicated control link. Once linked, the SLXD3+ automatically stays synchronized with the receiver across power cycles and frequency changes. Transmitter parameters such as frequency, RF power, control locks, and firmware updates can be managed remotely from the receiver or a paired mobile device.
Wireless Workbench Desktop and Mobile Control
The SLXD3+ integrates with Shure Wireless Workbench desktop software and the Wireless Workbench Mobile app for monitoring and control over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Users can manage frequencies, monitor RF and battery status, and adjust transmitter settings remotely, supporting efficient workflows in fast-moving production environments.
Secure Operation and Power Options
AES-256 encryption is included for secure wireless transmission. The SLXD3+ provides up to 8 hours of operation using two AA batteries or optional Shure SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and is compatible with Shure charging accessories (available separately).
