This SolarFast Starter Kit from Jacquard has everything you need to make unique prints on paper, t-shirts, and more, using sunlight. All you need is a surface to print onto. The kit features premeasured chemistry, a film marker to draw designs, sponges, 3 sheets of SolarFast Film to create custom print designs, gloves, a backerboard, cotton test fabric, and more. Enough material is provided to make up to 8 shirts or several dozen paper prints.
Please note that artist paper or fabric for printing is not included in this kit.
SolarFast Dye
SolarFast dyes require exposure to sunlight (UV) to develop color and become permanent. Anything placed on the painted surface to block the light will create a printed impression in a matter of minutes. The dye leaves fabric soft to the touch, and on paper it has zero relief and will not affect the texture of the surface whatsoever. SolarFast dyes are only meant for use on all-natural fibers such as cotton, linen, canvas, and rag papers.
