Impeccable sound reproduction is at the heart of the AMP 30 6-Channel 200W Power Amplifier from Marantz. Designed to power reference-level multichannel home theater setups, everything about the AMP 30 is geared to outputting powerful, crystal-clear, distortion-free sound. Balanced XLR inputs have been used to reduce input noise, and you have the option of traditional connections or choosing either bi-amp or BTL modes to try and further reduce interference or boost audio power. If the output of the AMP 30 isn't enough, you can combine it with a second AMP 30, or an AMP 10 or 20, to drive a more sophisticated speaker configuration.
Bi-Amp Mode
In this mode, signals to a speaker's high- and low-frequency drivers are split and driven independently. This is meant to reduce interference and improve overall sound quality.
BTL Mode
BTL, or Bridge-Tied Load, is a mode of the AMP 30 that bridges multiple channels to increase overall audio power. The AMP 30 offers all six channels at 200W, or three channels at 400W.
Seamless Operation
An included link cable lets you integrate the AMP 30 with your existing Marantz AV separates, such as a preamplifier, letting the other component control the AMP 30. This integration also syncs audio settings across the components for a unified audio experience.
Classic Marantz Design
The iconic Marantz design is on full display, with the telltale porthole display and analog meter to measure audio output. Soft side lights provide a warm glow from the front panel, accentuating the power amplifier's slim and elegant design.
