It comes with two 8TB SATA III 3.5" hard drives in a RAID 1 configuration, which uses one drive for storage and the other for 1:1 data redundancy. Other integrated features include a 1GbE RJ45 data transfer port, a 1GbE RJ45 management port, and a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port. Synology recommends the backup source be around 5TB.
