YC Onion MPQ55 Overview

Add accessories and easy quick release mounting to your Pineta Pro monopod with this Pineta Pro Quick Release Mount Adapter from YC Onion. This adapter features a 1/4"-20 screw on the top quick release plate that ejects from the base by pressing the dual buttons on either side of the adapter.

The base features an easy twist system to mount the adapter onto the monopod's 1/4"-20 screw. There is a shoe mount and a 1/4"-20 anti-twist thread on the sides of the adapter for adding accessories.

Quick Release Mechanism Needs Improvement I purchased the YC Onion Pineta Pro Quick Release Mount Adapter, but I’m having an issue with the quick-release function. When I attach the adapter, it does not work smoothly and does not release quickly as expected. I’m not sure if my unit has a defect or if this is a design issue, but the main reason for buying a quick-release adapter is to save time when attaching and removing equipment. Unfortunately, my experience has not been as convenient as expected. I hope YC Onion can improve the mechanism or provide better quality control, because the concept of this adapter is great, but the quick-release performance needs improvement.
