Ubiquiti Device Bridge Switch Overview

Grow your network while minimizing cable costs with the Device Bridge Switch from Ubiquiti, which integrates a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) bridge with an 8-port 10G / 2.5G managed PoE+ compatible network switch.

Connectivity
Comprised of one 10 Gb/s Ethernet port and seven 2.5 Gb/s ports, the Device Bridge Switch is designed to deliver fast and reliable data transfers with compatible devices.
PoE Support
Each port supports up to 30W PoE+ output with a 30W budget using the included 60W power adapter. Adding a separately purchased 210W adapter can increase the budget to 185W.
Integrated Network Bridge
The built-in Wi-Fi 7 bridge allows you to link devices connected to the Device Bridge Switch through walls and other obstacles without having to run a physical cable line. It communicates with a nearby access point, transferring up to 5.8 Gb/s over the 6 GHz band. The Device Bridge Switch may be configured for up to 4.3 Gb/s speeds using the 5 GHz frequency.

We recently moved into a leased office with limited structured cabling already in place, and I didn't want to deal with the cost or disruption of hiring a contractor to run new lines. This device turned out to be the perfect workaround. Setup was genuinely plug-and-play: I connected it, and it automatically found our UniFi network and joined with the correct settings, no manual configuration needed. The included wall mount let me install it right next to an outlet, so it blends into the space instead of looking like an add-on. The best part is the payoff: 8 additional usable ports, and we didn't run a single new cable to get there. For anyone in an older or leased space with limited wiring, this is a fast, clean way to extend your network without a construction project.
