CyberPower PR5000RTXL2UC Overview

CyberPower brings high-tech power protection and battery backup together with the PR5000RTXL2UC Smart App Sinewave Rack/Tower Convertible UPS. This UPS system is versatile as it can be installed vertically or horizontally in 2U rack space, which allows for easy accommodation of devices connected to the two NEMA 6-20R, one NEMA L6-20R, and one NEMA L6-30R outlets. This device is designed to deliver up to 5000VA / 5000W with a line-interaction topology and sine wave output.

If power loss occurs, this device provides up to 1.7 minutes of power at full load and about 8.3 minutes at half load, giving you time to properly shut down your network devices. This UPS system also offers up to 2430 joule surge protection with a $400,000 connected equipment guarantee, alongside a 3-year limited warranty. Additional features include emergency power-off functionality, remote management capabilities, an LCD panel, automatic voltage regulation, and EMI/RFI filtering.

Battery Backup
Battery backup supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails, helping prevent loss of data and minimize the component stress caused by a hard shutdown. This model accepts the BP48VP2U04 Extended Battery Module (EBM) for expanded runtime during power outages.
Line-Interactive Topology
This exists when a line-interactive UPS has an autotransformer that regulates low voltages and over voltages without having to switch to battery.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Clean, consistent AC power is provided by automatically increasing low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations.
Sine Wave Output
This UPS cleanly generates energy that matches the energy company's power grid. Benefits include low total harmonic distortion, minimal electrical noise, and optimal line clarity.
Battery Equalization Technology
Battery Equalization is an advanced charging process that maintains the voltages of the batteries at the same level to increase battery life.
Critical Load Outlets
Extend runtimes for critical devices by powering down non-critical equipment to free up battery capacity.
Fast Charge Technology
Fast charge technology allows UPS batteries to return to full capacity more rapidly by using a built-in charger inside of each UPS or EBM.
Rotatable Multifunction LCD Panel
The LCD panel tilts to provide a better viewing angle when the Smart App Sinewave is mounted low. It also rotates 90° when placed in a tower format for horizontal viewing. Information is provided on 47 different settings that include UPS status, UPS setup and control management, and testing options.
Toolless Battery Panel Access
Battery replacement is fast and simple. The faceplate features side latches for easy removal, and captive screws can be loosened by hand to open the battery cover.
RMCARD205 Installed
This UPS system comes with CyberPower's full-featured network management card, the RMCARD205. With this, you can remotely manage, monitor, and control CyberPower UPS systems via a standard web browser, command line interface, or network management system connection.
Surge Protection
Excess voltage is diverted away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to prevent damage.
GreenPower UPS Bypass Design
This patented design allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer when AC power is stable, which reduces energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup.
