The TOA WT-5805-AM is a professional UHF wireless diversity receiver designed for reliable operation in sound reinforcement and fixed installation environments. Utilizing a PLL-synthesizer controlled, double superheterodyne design, it delivers stable reception while minimizing noise and interference when paired with a compatible TOA transmitter.
UHF Diversity Reception
The WT-5805-AM employs space diversity operation and automatically selects the stronger of two antenna signals for further processing, ensuring dependable reception. A built-in compander noise-reduction circuit minimizes the influence of ambient RF noise, while automatic frequency scanning simplifies setup and frequency coordination over 64 available RF frequencies. The system supports up to 16 simultaneously operating receivers, making it suitable for multi-channel installations.
Front-Panel Monitoring and Control
A dual-line LCD with 6-segment metering provides clear operational status, including reception, transmitter battery status, and AF peak indication. Channel selection is handled via dedicated SET and NEXT keys with a clear channel number display. Additional controls include a 7-step adjustable squelch, RF check button, and output volume control for precise system adjustment.
Flexible Audio Connectivity
The rear panel provides balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" audio outputs for integration with a wide range of audio systems. An AF mixing input with auto mixing functionality allows audio from other units to be combined, supporting flexible system configurations. Power is supplied via the included AC adapter through the DC input jack.
