Bambu Lab H2S Overview

With a 13.4 x 12.6 x 13.4" build volume, enclosed active heated chamber, and included PEI build plate, the Bambu Labs H2S AMS Combo 3D Printer delivers multi-color 3D printing with ease. The closed-loop servo motor extruder features a 350°C max nozzle temperature and full filament path AI detection for accurate and detailed 3D printed models.

The H2S Combo comes with the AMS (Automatic Material System) 2 Pro, which stores four filaments and allows for multi-color 3D printing. The AMS 2 Pro features enhanced air-tight filament storage and an electromagnetic air vent that supports fast filament drying. It dries filament 30% faster than sealed heating, maintaining low humidity for improved storage and print quality. The AMS 2 Pro can be serially connected with three others and eight AMS HT units for 24 filament/multi-material printing.

AI Detection with 23 Sensors and 3 Cameras
Vision System
With AI-driven real-time monitoring, the vision system detects clumping, spaghetti, and purge chute jamming as they happen, helping prevent failed prints before they start. This same vision system powers advanced features like Live Spatial Alignment and Vision Encoder technology, which enhances positional accuracy.
Filament Feeding
Filament-path sensors work in unison to monitor feeding speed and position, detect filament tangles and grinding risks, track filament mileage and spool usage, and ensure tool readiness across the AMS, buffer, cutter, and feeding paths, making sure every tool is in place and every move is under control.
Thermal Control
Five NTC temperature sensors are strategically placed across the nozzle, heatbed, and chamber. Paired with integrated airflow sensors, the system actively monitors and adjusts internal temperatures and circulation, maintaining the ideal print environment through real-time feedback control.
Safety
The H2S features five flame sensors, front-door and top-cover sensors, and an emergency stop button to form a complete safety system. It detects fire risks, monitors enclosure alignment, and allows for an instant shutdown when needed-protecting your projects and workspace at all times.

Prior to each operational cycle, the H2S vision system initiates a comprehensive pre-flight checklist:

Flap Switch Airflow & Filtration System
High-Temp Printing
This 3D printer features an enclosed active heated chamber. Internal air recirculates through the air filter and the heater to stabilize high-temp conditions, allowing you to print large engineering parts without warping.
Low-Temp Printing
The top vent opens to bring in cool air, while maintaining a filtered exhaust. It enables printing with PLA and PETG without opening the door, allowing your printer to handle overhangs and bridging with ease.
