ActiveTrack
Follow yourself or another subject with the Neo 2 to capture engaging action shots using ActiveTrack. The Neo 2 can track from eight different directions and can keep up with running or cycling with ease, thanks to its maximum tracking speed of 26.8 mph. Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance helps with tracking by detecting if the surroundings are too dense; if so, it automatically switches to rear-follow tracking to keep filming.
SelfieShot
Quickly capture solo or group selfies with SelfieShot mode. Choose waist-up to feature you and your friends, full-body to get a good mix of subject and scenery, or a long shoot to focus more on your surroundings.
Take Control
Choose from five different control methods to perfectly match your shooting needs. Choose convenience with new gesture controls or precision via an optional controller.
p>
Gesture Control: Use one hand to point your palm toward the Neo 2 to guide it up, down, or from side to side. Use two hands for more precise control.
Voice Control: Speak into your mobile phone to transmit voice commands to the Neo 2 via Bluetooth.
App Control (Phone/Tablet): Download the DJI Fly app and use virtual joysticks on a phone or tablet to control the Neo 2.
App Control (Apple Watch): Use the DJI Fly app on your Apple Watch while running or cycling. Enjoy a live view from the drone, voice control, flight status, and haptic alerts for low battery and tracking issues.
Remote Control: Pair the Neo 2 with an optional RC-N3 controller for more precise control and an extended range of up to 6.2 miles.
Motion Control: Pair the Neo 2 with an optional DJI Motion 3 for more intuitive control. It also works with optional FPV goggles for increased immersion.
Safety Measures
Considering the Neo 2 is meant for casual use by beginners, it's been designed with multiple safety features.
Propeller Guards: Full-coverage propeller guards help prevent damage and injury from accidental bumps when in flight.
Omnidirectional Sensing: New for the Neo 2, this feature uses monocular vision, forward-facing LiDAR, and downward-facing infrared to detect and avoid obstacles when flying and tracking.
Return to Home: When using palm takeoff or mobile app control, the Neo 2 will return to its takeoff point. With an optional remote, both Return to Home and FailSafe RTH are available and supported by the omnidirectional obstacle-sensing system.

It doesn't get any easier to fly a drone. It looks like a toy but the video quality is really surprising. Very sam and compact, even the extra batteries (highly recommended) are fairly small and light to carry.
It won't replace a larger (with more functions) drone but it is so much easier to whip out this unit and just start it up. No controller, no starting / stopping of videos, just holding out your hand.
It's like your iPhone vs any digital SLR / mirrorless camera. Always wanting to use the latter, but 90% of all photos are still taken with the phone for most people.
With extra batteries, flying time has not been an issue so far, I'd even consider buying more batteries.
At this price, what's not to like!

I have a few other drones from DJI and a Skydio.
This neo2 is quick and easy to use I find myself using it more. Only negatives is that you have to avoid windy conditions and low light isn’t great. But I don’t care since this thing can follow me mountain biking through dense trees. Can’t ask for more! I love this.

Will the Neo II pair with my controller from my DJI mini II ?
Asked by: Andrew
The controller designed for the DJI Mini 2 is not compatible with the DJI Neo 2 Fly More Combo (Drone Only). The Neo 2 is compatible with the DJI RC 2, DJI RC-N3 & RC-N2 standard controllers, or the DJI RC Motion 3 and DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 when paired with the DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3.
