I received my three, Zhiyun FIVERAY M40 SE Bi-Color LED Light Panel with Accessories Kit from B&H yesterday and, as is customary, I tested it immediately out of the box. My initial impression is this is one terrific light! Incredibly bright, easy as hell to use, comes with two diffusers, a cold shoe swivel mount and double sided USB-C cable. I'm not a fan of the double sided USB-C cable because most of my home connections (to recharge the unit) are USB-A. So, I just swapped out the included double sided USB-C cable with my own USB-C to USB-A cable. I can tell these lights will be very versatile in my many run-and-gun, guerilla style assignments and they are easy to transport. I love the fact you can use these on battery power or plugged in via AC (just find yourself a longer cable). I have not tested battery life at various power levels but the man online YouTube reviews show this to last 45 to 55 minutes at full power. Not too terrible! At this price how can you go wrong?

For its size, this light really cranks it out, and the ability to dim and choose temperature is a big bonus. Run time feels short, but it's easy to extend it with a power bank or long USB-C to block
