Constructed from reinforced stainless steel, the two-section boom extends from 5.7 to 10', providing flexible positioning for lights, microphones, and accessories in both studio and on-location setups. When balanced with proper counterweights, it supports payloads up to 33 lb at minimum extension and 22 lb at full extension, delivering reliable performance even with heavier fixtures.
At its base, the arm features a spring-loaded ratchet wheel mechanism, enabling smooth 180° tilting adjustments with reduced effort. Its aluminum collar locks and captive knobs ensure secure adjustments. Universal junior and baby mounting interfaces on both ends provide broad compatibility with stands and accessories.
