Designed to make monitoring flexible and easy, the LD Systems HPA 2 is a two-channel headphone amplifier with independent gain controls, 1/4" TRS inputs, and 3-pin block connector inputs. The two headphone outputs are available via two 3.5mm front-panel connections and two 1/4" rear-panel connections, and line outputs are available as a pair of 1/4" line outputs. Daisy-chain multiple units together for group listening environments. Signal and clip lights for the inputs help you keep everything in check.
Configure the HPA 2 via switch to allow two people to listen to the same stereo signal, with independent volume control, or listen to independent mono signals per headphone channel, acting as two independent headphone amplifiers. Additional options include the ability to use the volume knobs for individual headphone volume control, or use one knob as the global headphone volume control and the other as a separate monitor output level control. The HPA 2 works with low-impedance headphones as low as 16 ohms. And, the sound quality remains unchanged, thanks to a capacitor-free output stage.
