Designed with enthusiasts in mind, this display supports a UHD 5K 5120 x 2880 resolution while delivering smooth visuals with a 180 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time. Switching to a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution enables a 330 Hz refresh rate. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility eliminate screen tearing and stuttering with compatible graphics cards.

With HDR support and sharp contrast, the ROG Strix delivers rich visuals featuring realistically bright highlights and deep shadows. Connecting your compatible laptop to the USB-C port allows you to transfer video, audio, and up to 15W of power over a single cable. One DisplayPort 1.4 input is also available alongside two HDMI 2.1 ports. Use the integrated 3-port USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 hub to connect peripherals such as a webcam, keyboard, and mouse through the monitor. Plugging a pair of headphones into the 3.5mm jack provides listening privacy. Ambient RGB backlighting helps to enhance the mood while you play.

These technologies help to ensure smooth, synchronized visuals by enabling variable refresh rate (VRR). Additionally, Extreme Low Motion Blur 2 (ELMB 2) technology uses a dual backlight design with two LED strips and ten backlight zones to minimize motion blur and ghosting. Choose between five different level settings. Integrated ASUS Variable Overdrive 2.0 technology dynamically adjusts the monitor's overdrive setting as frame rates fluctuate to help ensure optimal results for any game.

A dynamic crosshair contrasts against the background in real-time for enhanced targeting accuracy. Dynamic Shadow Boost brightens dark areas without overexposing bright areas, providing a clear advantage in low-light environments. The AI Visual feature automatically adjusts the display's settings for optimal viewing during different tasks and games.
Ergonomics
Optimize your view by adjusting the height, tilt, and swivel. Rotating the screen in either direction allows you to view content in portrait mode. You can also use the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting pattern to attach the screen to a swivel arm or multi-monitor stand.
