I would not recommend it. Technically, yes, the Move Shoot Move Adjustable Laser for NOMAD Star Tracker with Adapter can be used as a standard laser pointer, but as it is specifically designed for polar alignment usage, it is a lot more powerful and would be dangerous for use as a regular laser pointer.
