Compact, lightweight, and simple to operate, the NOMAD Star Tracker from Move Shoot Move allows cameras and smart telescopes to capture deep-sky images by countering the earth's rotation. The Nomad mounts on your tripod and is equipped with a mounting screw for a ball head holding your camera. Once properly aligned, the NOMAD will rotate your camera to match the rotation of the earth, capturing sharp images of stars, galaxies, constellations, and more.
Lightweight and Portable
Its compact size and included zippered carry pouch make it easy to pack the tracker to remote locations, far from big-city light pollution.
Arca-Style Base Mount
The built-in Arca-type bottom plate has dovetails on all four sides, so the tracker can be mounted facing any direction, and has a 1/4"-20 mounting hole as an alternative connection.
Power Supply
The NOMAD is powered by a built-in rechargeable 6.46 watt-hour battery, which charges from AC power via the included USB-C cable in two hours and will run the tracker for five hours. The tracker can also be recharged from a portable 5V power supply and can be used while charging. Orange and green LEDs indicate charging status.
Construction
Made of CNC-machined anodized aluminum, the tracker can support up to 7.7 pounds of gear, including camera and ball mount.
