Vintage Tone, Meticulously Recreated
A critical part of the classic VOX sound lies not just in the amplifier circuitry but in the cabinet itself. While many assume vintage AC30s were built with heavy wood panels, VOX's meticulous research revealed otherwise. The V212HWRX features a 12mm birch ply cabinet to match the specs of '60s models, enhancing resonance and creating an open, three-dimensional feel.
Iconic Speakers
The V212HWRX is loaded with a pair of 12" Celestion Alnico Blue speakers—the same speakers that helped make the AC30 famous. Known for their brilliant highs, smooth overdrive, and rich harmonic detail, Alnico Blues are a cornerstone of the VOX sound.
Timeless Craftsmanship and Style
From the diamond pattern grill cloth to the classic VOX badge, the V212HWRX cabinet is a celebration of VOX's unmatched heritage. It's not just a speaker cabinet, it's a piece of rock history reborn for today's guitarist.
