Mount your camera horizontally or vertically with the small Universal L-Bracket V2 from Kirk. Designed to fit mirrorless and DSLR cameras without a battery pack, this bracket includes a hex wrench under the plate to mount the bracket to the camera via its captive 1/4"-20 threaded mounting screw. Additionally, a rubber insert pad on the horizontal plate prevents the camera from moving while mounted to the bracket. Use the incorporated quick disconnect socket for additional mounting options. The horizontal plate also provides two adjacent mounting slots to accommodate the width and length of different-sized cameras. The vertical side of the bracket has a slotted design that maintains side port access to the camera, and it has a machined loop for a hand or shoulder strap.

Kirk ULB-1V2 Reviews
Quality great, adjustability misleading
The construction quaiity of this is outstanding. There's a stainless insert QD socket in the bottom, and even a custom-fit allen wrench holder under the base. None of this is surprising, because I already had the V1 version of this bracket. The reason I bought it was for the adjustable upright of the L, that goes on the left side of the camera. This is completely underwhelming; the adjustment distance is exactly 4 mm either direction. There are hard stops machined into the base tending to prevent my modification to move it further. This tiny distance is so negligible, it barely counts as a "feature". A previoius Q&A said it could 'move' .4 inch, but that's a rounded up measurement of the total travel from front to back, not a measure of offset from center, which is the real measurement needed to understand if this will work on a particular camera. So I'm very dissappointed, both in the small amount of travel available, and also how they never quite specify what the amount of travel from center actually is, neither on the KIRK website, nor on the B&H website.
