The 128-Channel Dante/AES67 Expansion Card for AX32R from NTP-DAD meets the demand for a higher channel count from the AX32R Audio Matrix, adding another 128 channels to your digital audio-routing matrix.
With eight slots available for expansion cards, the user can ultimately employ up to 1088 Dante/AES67 channels, including the 64 channels that come standard with the unit, at 48 kHz. It also offers sample rate conversion on all channels as well as dual-redundancy network ports to maximize reliability, reducing the risk system crash leading to data loss.
Independent Sample-Rate Conversion
- Per-card sample-rate conversion, which allows several independent audio networks running on individual clocks and sample rates to be connected and unified with a single AX32R unit
- Naturally open up vast possibilities for distributing audio across sources and destinations on highly complex setups that involve sending a feed to OB trucks, while recording at a different sample rate and sending another feed to a FOH console or in-ear monitoring system
- Solve real-world challenges of high channel counts when working with Dolby Atmos as well as in recording studios where Dante based monitoring systems are used
- In-house developed, high-quality AD/DA converters
Multiple Operational Modes and Redundancy
- Operates either as a single 128 x 128 channel interface with switch for the two Ethernet connectors, or redundantly, where the two Ethernet connectors are connected to different networks, each carrying 128 x 128 channels
- If more cards are installed, each card can be connected to a different network, or more cards can be connected to the same network via an external Ethernet switch or bridging the network between the cards when operating in non-redundant mode
- Operates in Dante or AES67 mode with support for discovery via SAP
- In Dante mode, Dante Domain Manager (DDM) is supported for enhanced network management functionality
- Configuration of card managed via DADman
