The PlayAUDIO2U features four XLR/¼" TRS combo inputs with pristine, ultralow-noise mic preamps and 48V phantom power, providing wide dynamic range and clean capture for vocals and instruments. With 24 balanced, chassis-reinforced XLR outputs, the unit is ready to plug directly into stage snakes, looms, or stage boxes. High-resolution 24-bit / 96 kHz AD/DA conversion delivers studio-quality sound for the live arena, while integrated output protection helps guard against accidental phantom power from consoles.
A dedicated ¼" TRS stereo headphone output with its own level control provides convenient onstage monitoring, and comprehensive internal routing allows flexible mixing between connected computers and analog outputs.
Dual-Computer Connectivity and Redundancy
Two USB-C ports allow direct connection to separate computing devices, enabling automatic or manual switching between computers for seamless performance redundancy. The interface constantly monitors audio or MIDI signals and can switch sources faster than the audience can detect. Audio Protection safeguards your show by muting outputs and displaying diagnostics if corrupted audio or system issues are detected.
Advanced Display and Front-Panel Control
A large OLED screen provides real-time system status, MIDI activity, and audio levels for instant feedback. Front-panel buttons and rotary encoders enable software-free control over key functions, while four assignable buttons can be mapped to MIDI commands or interface controls. Two dual-button control footswitch jacks expand hands-free operation and can also be mapped to MIDI or system functions.

The PlayAUDIO2U acts as a powerful MIDI interface and controller, connecting devices through four USB MIDI host ports, built-in 5-pin DIN ports (2 in / 2 out), and dual Ethernet MIDI jacks offering up to 22 ports of RTP connectivity. Advanced MIDI processing lets you route messages intelligently, filter unwanted data, send program changes selectively, or trigger all-notes-off commands if a computer failure occurs. MIDI Learn allows external controllers to take command of key interface functions.
Software Configuration and Tour-Ready Design
Auracle software enables detailed configuration and routing, letting you tailor the PlayAUDIO2U to the exact needs of your performance setup.
