NVIDIA RTX A400 Overview

Enhance your workflow with the NVIDIA RTX A400 Graphics Card, which features NVIDIA's Ampere architecture with 768 CUDA cores and 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM to accelerate data-intensive tasks such as video rendering, 3D modeling, and generative AI.

A single-fan design helps to ensure efficient and stable performance during intensive workloads. The front panel of the card features four mini DisplayPort 1.4a ports and can natively support up to 5K, 60 Hz or 4K, 120 Hz displays.

CUDA Cores
The NVIDIA CUDA cores bring up to 2.7x the single-precision floating point (FP32) throughput compared to the previous generation.
2nd-Gen RT Cores
With 2nd-Gen ray tracing engines, this graphics card renders complex models with accurate shadows, reflections, and refractions.
3rd-Gen Tensor Cores
This graphics card includes 3rd generation Tensor Cores that boost AI-augmented application performance with advanced capabilities that include AI denoising, DLSS, and more.
PCIe Gen 4 Interface
The RTX A400 supports PCIe Gen 4, which provides double the bandwidth of PCIe Gen 3, improving data-transfer speeds from CPU memory for data-intensive tasks like AI and data analysis.
5th-Gen NVDEC Engine
NVDEC is optimal for transcoding and video playback applications for real-time decoding with support for the AV1 codec.

Installed the GPU, works wonderfully in my Debian rig.

Great for DaVinci Resolve

The main reason I bought this card was to improve video rendering and editing performance, while also powering my four 32-inch monitors. My old graphics card struggled badly with DaVinci Resolve—it would freeze frequently and make editing videos frustrating and sometimes nearly impossible. Since installing the RTX A400, DaVinci Resolve runs smoothly, and editing and rendering videos have become a breeze. Playback is much more responsive, rendering is significantly faster, and my overall workflow is much more enjoyable. The card has been stable and reliable, exactly what I was looking for. I can’t comment on gaming performance since I’m not a gamer, but if you’re looking for a dependable graphics card for content creation, video editing, rendering, and a multi-monitor setup, I can definitely recommend the RTX A400.
