Enjoy extremely flexible band switching for wireless mics with the Wisycom MRK980, a two-channel, true-diversity wireless receiver offering up to a 1090 MHz bandwidth stretching from VHF to UHF. With versatile connectivity, including analog and digital AES XLR outs, redundant Dante I/O, BNC word clock, and RF I/O, this receiver can handle a range of pro applications.
The MRK980 offers two high-Q moving filters (170 to 230 and 470 to 800 MHz) and one saw filter (940 to 960 MHz). You can select between wideband and narrowband modes, with narrowband, offering enhanced band efficiency, sensitivity, and noise immunity. The MRK980 supports DIGICOM Multiband software for use of third-party transmitters and EMBER+, which helps to manage up to four talkback modes with the optional RPU 500. Total monitoring and control is available via the Wisycom Manager software and the intuitive, high-contrast OLED screen. This version of the MRK980 includes a redundant DC power input for reliable operation via a 10 to 28 VDC XLR 4-pin input jack. For further GPIO, RF, and/or digital connectivity, this receiver supports optional expansion boards (expansion boards sold separately).
- Two-channel, true-diversity receiver (full DSP processing)
- Up to 1090 MHz bandwidth in 170 MHz range
- Analog, AES/EBU, and Dante outputs (with redundancy)
- Dante machine synchronized mode: no sample rate delay
- Next-gen multiband front-end filtering: high Q moving filter in 170 to 230 MHz, high Q moving filter in 470 to 800 MHz, high Q moving filter in 960 to 1160 MHz (DME)
- Country-specific saw filter: 940 to 960 MHz
- Wideband and narrowband DSP-FM operation (software selectable): narrowband allows 50% more band efficiency (200/250 kHz channel density) and allows about 3 dB extra sensitivity and noise immunity
