This Creator Camera Cage from SHAPE provides an adaptable foundation for building out a complete Canon EOS C50 cinema rig while preserving functionality. CNC-machined from aluminum, the cage secures to the C50 via multiple 1/4"-20 mounting screws and integrates a modular base/side plate with a dedicated top plate for reinforced protection and mounting flexibility. Multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI-style locating patterns support the attachment of monitors, wireless receivers, articulating arms, and other production accessories.

Can you use the C50 XLR top handle with this cage if we don’t install the top plate?
Yes, the SHAPE Creator Camera Cage for Canon EOS C50 can be used with the Canon EOS C50 Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Canon RF) and top handle. There is a top cage plate you would not attach during this configuration.
