The Creme Bus Compressor and Mastering Equalizer from Tegeler Audio combines a Pultec principle-based passive EQ and a high-end bus compressor in a single rack-mountable device.
The EQ is typically set to subtly boost the bass and treble, while the bus compressor compresses the sound slightly. It has been refined to the most commonly used applications: Bass boost, to give greater low-end emphasis, and treble boost, to make the mix truly sparkle. Boost is switchable to enable total recall and reduce the boost to appropriate levels for use on master channels. Based on long relied-upon principles of vintage audio equipment construction, the Creme is a powerful mixing and mastering tool for professional studio environments.
Equalizer

Compressor
SC Low Cut:
- Activates a 6 dB high-pass filter in the side-chain
- The low-cut filter allows you to adjust how sensitive the compressor is to low frequencies
- Can be used to remove the low frequencies from the side-chain, so bass notes do not cause pumping effects (or vice-versa if pumping is desired)
