Ubiquiti Entry Sensor Reviews

Solid device, weird ecosystem

This sensor works fine. It feels solid, the magnet is powerful enough to penetrate some carved edging on the doorframe so that's good. If you are thinking about using this in a home and replacing a Ring or some other privacy-invasive system, bear in mind that Ubiquiti don't have this up to the standards consumer software yet. There's no entry code device unless you want to install their Access product, the concept of Arm/Disarm is buried in the architecture and their really is no way to let user's turn on/off the alarm without giving them Admin access to Protect. Sound stupid? Yes, somebody is, but I don't think this is a good choice for a home system.
