This Essential Series 6-Outlet Surge Protector from CyberPower turns two-outlet wall sockets into six surge-protected outlets to safeguard small home appliances and other connected devices, including PCs, routers, modems, and personal electronics against electrical surges. It's configured with two banks of three outlets that swivel to fit tight spaces and features a three-prong wall plug. The protector has a 1800 joule energy rating. Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) technology protects the unit and the connected electronics against line abnormalities and surges, allowing normal current to pass through the unit while diverting spikes through the ground circuit.
