I got this as a background for some of my flower and glassware photos. It works as advertised and will be great for that. The colors are vivid. The frame is very narrow. That helps a lot to give me the most space I can get as a background. It is difficult to get the cables in the back because they’ve got a bend a little too much to get in the slot.

How do I attach this an arm? It says that you can but there aren't any holes in the back of the monitor.

There are 4x VESA mounting points on the back of the ASUS VP229Q 21.5" 16:9 FreeSync Eye Care IPS Monitor; however, the unit ships with rubber plugs that must be removed in order to access the VESA mounting points.

Is this new or used? Also do they come with any cables? on the website it says that DisplayPort & HDMI are included.

It is a new item and has 1 year warranty from Asus. Only the power cable is included in the box. Video cable is sold separately.
