Electro-Voice has engineered the EVIVA family to deliver best-in-class performance from a performance focused portable powered loudspeaker. To ensure optimal sound quality not usually found in this category of loudspeaker, EVIVA features Electro-Voice's patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) and a custom-designed, high-energy neodymium high-frequency compression driver.

Weighing just 26.5 pounds, the EVIVA 12P offers a 90 x 60° (horizontal x vertical) coverage pattern, delivering clean, even sound across the audience area. EVIVA 12P has a frequency range of 63 Hz to 18 kHz (-3 dB) and a maximum SPL of 125 dB delivering class-leading sonic performance. It offers industry standard connectivity to make setting up any gig as fast as possible with two XLR-1/4" combo jack mic/line inputs, an XLR mix output, and Bluetooth audio streaming. Put through the same rigorous testing as every Electro-Voice loudspeaker, EVIVA 12P delivers a consistent performance that can be relied on every time.
Intuitive Control
The 2-way full-range system features a robust composite enclosure, 1000W amplifier, and 2-channel analog input section. The intuitive control panel features knobs for level adjustment and switches to change the mode between Music and Live and high pass changes between NO SUB and WITH SUB EVIVA 18SP. The loudspeakers are powered via an IEC mains input with auto-switching universal 100 to 240V mains voltage input; a US power cord is included.

Good sounding speakers. The cross over point is fat and warm. I like live setting best. Down falls shipping and the chance of bumping the volume knows. The phone app. does not work correctly. Use the XLR to daisy chain both speakers and use one Bluetooth for the output signal side.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Lesson learned.

You pretty much get what you pay for here. It feels like corners were cut somewhere—likely with cheaper components in the amplifier. Even with nothing plugged in, the speaker produces a very loud hiss, which made it completely unusable for me. I originally needed it as a keyboard monitor, so I ended up returning it and replacing it with a Turbosound Milan 10. I’ve been really happy with that one—much cleaner sound and no noise issues.
