The sight's Super LED is powered by a 1632 battery with a 100,000-hour life span and sets its own brightness level based on ambient conditions, along with 10 selectable daytime levels and two for use with night vision gear. The battery is backed up by Holosun's Solar Failsafe technology, which uses solar power to keep the sight working if the battery fails.
