The PartyBox can fill the room with 100W of output from a 5.25" woofer and a pair of 0.75" silk-dome tweeters. Stream your favorite music over Bluetooth and use the included wireless microphone to sing karaoke. Even if you can't hold a tune, built-in technology will make you sound like you can. Everyone Can Sing
The included wireless microphone isn't just for the lucky few who know how to sing. Built-in echo effects and the Smart Key Change feature are designed to make everyone sound like a pro. Smart Key Change can be selected within the JBL PartyBox app, and it shifts the track to match the key of the singer.
Multicolor Light Show
Integrated into the front of the PartyBox On-The-Go 2 are LEDs that can be used to add a multicolor light show to the party. Watch as different light patterns and strobe effects sync to the beat.
Go Big with More Speakers
If the 100W of the PartyBox speaker isn't enough, you can pair an optional second speaker to cover more space and provide true stereo sound. If you need to fill a really large space, use JBL Auracast to broadcast music to all JBL Auracast-enabled speakers in the area.
All-Day Power
There's no reason for the party to end when you have a PartyBox On-The-Go 2. On a full charge, it can play audio for up to 15 hours. The battery is replaceable, so you can pick up an optional second battery and replace it for another 15 hours. If you ran out of power and have little time, a quick 10-minute charge will give you up to 80 minutes of playback.

Don’t buy unless you have a spare 3 days to spend

I really wanted to give it one star, but the sound quality is really good. I turned this speaker on for the first time. Says it needs a “software update” haven’t even used it ONCE. this update takes at least 30-45 minutes to download, while you CANT use it. Then, it’s not done. It takes 20-30 minutes to install the update… my phone is about to die now… it shouldn’t take this long to download let alone install an update when I just bought it. This really makes me sad, as I love the brand JBL they have really great speakers, but this is really making me disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this speaker. The sound is amazing. It comes with the microphone, which I love. You don't have to sync the mic, because it automatically connects. There is also a way to connect the mic to the back of the speaker for easier transport. There is also a shoulder strap for the speaker itself. The battery life is really good. This speaker was perfect, because my family loves karaoke. This is also perfect for family game nights. It is a bit heavy for my liking.

Is here a quarter inch input hookup for a guitar?

The JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Party Speaker with Wireless Microphone does not have a 1/4" input for connecting guitars or other electronic instruments. If you don't need the wireless mic, I would recommend considering the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 100W Party Speaker instead, which has a 1/4" input that can be used for either one microphone or one guitar.
