The QuikBeam Zoomable Fresnel LED Spotlight is a zoomable, Fresnel-based LED fixture designed for film, broadcast, and event lighting applications. It delivers high-quality white and full-color output with excellent color rendering and precise beam shaping through its integrated Fresnel optical system, enabling flexible use as a key light, accent light, or theatrical spotlight.
Color Accuracy & Control
Powered by the Titan LED Engine, the RGB (+ mint + amber) color mixing produces accurate white light and saturated colors across a wide spectrum. The CRI and TLCI ratings of 96 or higher offer professional color fidelity in film and broadcast workflows. Its Fresnel lens provides a continuously adjustable beam angle from 13 to 60°, allowing precise shaping for focused highlights or wide-area coverage depending on application requirements.
Fixture Control and Connectivity
The QuikBeam integrates comprehensive wired and wireless control systems for professional production environments. Supported control methods include:
- Wireless CRMX for cable-free DMX control
- Art-Net and sACN over Ethernet
- Bluetooth connectivity via AsteraApp
- Infrared remote control
- Integrated display with onboard controls
- Wireless RDM monitoring and configuration
Wireless CRMX and UHF control provide reliable operation at distances up to 330 yd, supporting large-scale productions and complex lighting systems. The fixture can also function as a Bluetooth Bridge, enabling communication with other Astera lighting devices in networked environments.
Rugged Build and Mounting Flexibility
The QuikBeam can be used in a standing or hanging position. It features durable construction designed for professional rigging and field use. It includes:
- Removable yoke with a 3/8"-16 thread and a 1/2" hole for attaching suitable mounting accessories
- Built-in kickstand for ground placement
- 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads
- Airline track compatible mounting options
Multiple Powering Options
The QuikBeam can be powered by:
- Power over Ethernet (PoE+/PoE++): Power over Ethernet (PoE) combines power and data in a single cable, simplifying setups, reducing clutter, and giving you more flexibility. With it, cables can reach up to 328', standard sACN and ArtNet signals are supported, and the swappable battery can charge while connected. PoE also enables bi-directional communication, so IP or DMX addresses can be set remotely even after installation.
- QuikBrick battery: The separately available QuikBrick battery enables wireless operation and supports up to 20 hours of runtime depending on the output level with 80 minutes of of runtime at maximum brightness. It is a swappable battery that becomes fully waterproof when inserted into QuikBeam, designed for uninterrupted workflows and fast rental turnaround.
