The Cue3 Passive Volume Control from Cable Techniques will control earpiece or headphone volume for live remotes and phone interviews. This unit has a 3-pin XLR female connector for audio input, 3.5mm and a 1/4" TS phone jacks for single earpiece monitoring, and a 1/4"-20 TRS jack that feeds the same mono signal to each ear of your headphones. IFB situations may be simplified by using the Cue3 instead of battery powered amplifiers. It features a +4 dBm line or active headphone output that will easily drive an earpiece or Sony MDR-7506 headphones through this passive attenuator. Ideal for IFB and line testing on location, the Cue3 has a volume control knob and a belt clip for portability.
