Make Believe Studios worked in collaboration with Chris Gehringer to develop a plug-in that adds character to loud tracks. Even with tracks that are already relatively hot, CGII can be used without adding unpleasant distortion or flattening out the low-end source material. At the same time, you can control the true-peak level of the program to ensure that there are no intersample overs. Dither, a DC-block filter, and complete LUFS and true-peak metering are now included, making CGII a one-stop shop for final processing at the end of your master chain. Use the Loudness processor to excite harmonics, or the Density processor to raise the energy and low-level clarity, without affecting transients.
