Designed to support macro mode, the KIPON PRO Lock Macro Adapter with Helicoid allows ARRI PL-mount lenses to be mounted onto Sony E mirrorless camera bodies. The integrated locking knob secures the lens firmly to the adapter. With its built-in helicoid, this adapter can be turned to further focus the lens beyond its minimum focus distance, effectively increasing magnification for macro shooting. It has a durable metal construction.
When the adapter is in its original position, the infinity focus functions normally. However, once the helicoid is adjusted out of its original position, infinity focus is no longer available. Please note that while the adapter allows the lens to be mounted physically, electronic communication between the lens and camera is not supported, making it exclusively manual operation.
