In addition to standard audio CDs, the CD5 can play CD-R and CD-RW discs burned as an audio CD or packed with digital audio files. Speaking of digital files, you can also play them by inserting an optional flash drive into the CD5's USB-A port. The CD5 supports high-resolution FLAC and WAV formats in addition to popular compressed formats such as MP3, AAC, and WMA.
